Inspired by compassion
My involvement and leadership with CVESD is deeply rooted in the compassion I received from this wonderful community. It's that same spirit of support and care that inspires me to give back and work towards an even brighter future for all our students and families in Chula Vista, California. I want to continue to give back to the community that has given me so much when my son and I needed it most.
Experienced and dedicated
As a parent, a student advocate, and a voice for teachers, I bring a unique and comprehensive perspective to this role. My experiences have equipped me with the skills necessary to understand and address the diverse needs of our educational community, ensuring every voice is heard. The last two years as a trustee, I have demonstrated my commitment to my community and I will continue to do so when re-elected.
Bringing balance, objective perspective, and celebrating wins!
My main goal for CVESD is to bring balance and an objective perspective to our decisions and initiatives. I will continue to make a positive difference by fostering collaboration, championing effective policies, and ensuring that our district truly serves the best interests of every student, teacher, and family. That also includes a sense of fun and fostering positive morale amongst our staff--celebrating our accomplishments whenever we can! As a trustee, I lead by example.
